We kicked off Feel Good February with our Random Acts of Kindness Campaign…
The event, which took place on Sunday 17th of February, saw us take to the streets of High Wycombe town centre and surprise unsuspecting shoppers with free gifts donated by local businesses.
Discussing the idea behind the campaign, our Marketing & Comms Coordinator Siobhan Carney said “We wanted to do something nice for visitors to the town and this seemed like the perfect campaign. It was also about encouraging those who received gifts to pay that kindness forward and do something nice for someone else.”
Chimerique Hair Salon, The Air Raid Shelter Café and Tea Room, Treatz Dessert Parlour, La-Koco Coffee, The Massage Company, The Front Room, Heidrun, The Vanilla Pod, Linda Jane Florist, Wycombe Wanderers Football Club and Vitulli all generously donated prizes for the event. The fun continued well into Sunday evening, with us randomly giving away prizes across our social media – including massage vouchers and football tickets.
Our BID manager Melanie Williams, was also thrilled with the success of the event. “It was a privilege to see joy and surprise from visitors and seemed like a good opportunity to raise the profile of individual businesses. Everyone was really generous and gave some great prizes, we want to thank all the businesses involved”
