Festivals and Events

With its beautiful old buildings and unique traditions, High Wycombe is a town with great potential. Over the last few years,

HWBIDCo have worked hard to transform the offer of the town centre, helping to increase footfall and turn High Wycombe into a hub for entertainment and commerce.
We organise a strong annual calendar of activities. Two of our most popular events – Frogfest and The Christmas Lights Switch On – help bring thousands into the town centre. Since 2012, we’ve held BIG screen events, built a temporary garden in Frogmoor, trialled three separate food festivals and run a successful Easter Egg Hunt.

We also promote the town to visitors. With around 3000 followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we offer BID businesses FREE promotion on any of our growing social media channels. There are also opportunities for levypayers to promote their business on our website and in our monthly e-newsletter.
