It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

But whilst you’d be forgiven for thinking that shopping is the main attraction of the town centre this festive season, there’s actually a whole host of other activities for you and the whole family to enjoy. From ice cream making, to Christmas cinema classics, here’s our list of the top five things to do in High Wycombe over the holidays…

1. Enjoy the panto at Wycombe Swan theatre

Christmas just isn’t Christmas without a trip to the panto. This year, Wycombe Swan is showing their production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs featuring Strictly Come Dancing star, Brendan Cole and Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Mandy Muden. With plenty of comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes and stunning scenery, it’s a festive treat for all ages. 2. Get creative in the kitchen at The Works

Looking for something to keep the kids amused over the holidays? The Works (High Street) are offering more of their fabulous ice cream making sessions. Don your apron, grab your whisk and learn how to make authentic gelato. Choose from over 20 different flavours, label your tub, mix your recipe and pour it in to the machine. Best of all, you get to take home exactly what you make! Whether you’re looking for last-minute Christmas party ideas, a unique hen-do activity or you just fancy making your own sweet treats, The Works have you covered. Prices start from £15 per person (with a minimum booking of 6 people). Plus, if you book a meal before or after your Ice Cream Experience you’ll also receive 20% off your total bill.
